Travelling can really bring the worst out in anyone, and it doesn’t matter who you’re travelling with, if it’s a best friend, a partner, or even close members of your family, you’re going to have a falling out if the travelling doesn’t go to plan. So if you want to have a drama free trip, here are some suggestions to keep you all sane, and in the very least, make sure that you’re all friends by the time the holiday is over.
Plan Ahead
Before you set off on your travels, it’s best to decide on where you’re going together, try to be fair, and have a vote on where you’d like to go. Make sure that this is somewhere that everyone can agree on, and that way, you could avoid any arguments about your chosen destination later on.
Be Prepared
If you’re travelling by car, it’s a good idea to plan your journey before you depart, which will hopefully stop you from getting lost along the way. Sit down with your travel companions and agree on the best possible route to take a few weeks before you leave. Invest in a good quality and up to date road map, and consider getting a
TomTom sat nav, to ensure that you won’t take the wrong turn and end up miles away from where you’re meant to be.
Have Fun
Remember that travelling is a way for you and your loved ones to experience new things, to see countries you might not have seen before, and immerse yourself in a different culture. So try not to get too stressed out by the journey, and remember to sit back, relax and lose yourself in everything that the world has to offer.
